Acxe is a true gem. Always present, always eager to offer up support and a kind word. They've given life to an interesting cast of characters from Kristoff to Cerberus, all of which are a welcome edition to EDS and played phenomenally. If you haven't, now is definately a good time to show your appreciation, and thank Acxe for everything they do!

As you slide down the banister of life, may the splinters never point the wrong way!

What wonderful things the modern libraries were! Flynn was obviously familiar with libraries as they had a few of them back home. However, they were absolutely nothing compared to the library he had just walked into. Only the king ever had anything that could compare to this one. The libraries that Flynn was more used to were more likely a few bookshelves of worn books that the community happened to put together. The magical creature community even had their special, secret library that only they knew how to get to. It really grew after they began being hunted because they needed as many resources at their disposal as they could get.

Flynn went to the library occasionally, just to look at the splendor. He had yet to even get a library card because it seemed like such a luxury. Looking at the books was just fine for him for now. Maybe one day he would end up getting a library card, but not today. Probably not, anyway.

It was interesting to see the way libraries had progressed over the years. A whole building dedicated to a library of books seemed such a fantastical idea. There weren’t just books, though! There were movies and music and games. Towards the front of the building there was actually a coffee shop. Libraries had become a place where one could spend an entire day. There was no reason to leave now, was there?

His favorite section was the large non-fiction area. There was so much that he still had to learn about the real world. At work, a few things had come up that a normal citizen of San Francisco probably should have known. Thankfully, he was able to explain it away by complaining about it being early in the morning and coming from a different country. Technically not a lie!

Flynn headed to the history section, which had quickly become one of his favorites. He never looked for anything in particular and today was no different. There were so many good books to choose from that he always thought it best if he just browsed the collection. One rather old book caught his attention and he reached to pull it out. However, it seemed that the shelves were so full with books that they were being held in place.

He pulled and pulled until it finally came out, but the majority of the books around it came out with it. His shoulders slumped as he looked down at the pile of books surrounding him. His shoulders slumped. “Really?” He knew it would be difficult to get all of the books back on the shelf as they were, but there was possibly one thing he could do.

Flynn took a careful look around him and once (he thought) no one was looking, he waved his hand, commanding all of the books back onto the shelf, fitting a little bit better this time. Grinning and satisfied with himself, he raised his head only to see a young woman staring at him from one of the nearby tables. He quickly stuck his nose in the book he had fought so hard for and turned the opposite direction.
