Becca is yet another member that has returned to us, and was sorely missed in her absence. As much a part of the family as though she'd been here from the very beginning. She's always welcoming, always kind and supportive, and most importantly ready to offer all the magical feels-breaking plots you could ever ask for. So don't forget to show her your love next time you see her!

charas of the month

Welcome to ENDLESS DIAMOND SKY! We are an animation personified site set both in the animated world and present day San Francisco. A terrible darkness is spreading through the animated realm, driving everyone from their homes and into unknown territory that we know as reality. Now they find themselves at a crossroads: do they fight for their world or do they turn their back on it and make San Francisco their home? What will you choose?

But she wears short skirts, I wear T-shirts.
She's cheer captain and I'm on the bleachers!
She was out of her element… completely so… and there was no worse feeling. It had been years since she set foot in an educational institution, partially because she hadn’t felt intelligent enough to attend college and partially because her PTSD (real or not real for what it was worth) had her paralyzed in fear. But she couldn’t let that define her, let such thoughts and feelings hold her back. At least… not the lack of confidence in her intelligence. The PTSD was another thing entirely, but she had taken up talking to one of her old doctors and they seemed to think it a good idea to work past her night terrors and try going to school—if at the very least part time. She owed it to herself at the very least to make more of her life than being a simple waitress… just waiting for the day when she dropped one to many glasses or trays and was fired. What she would or study was beyond her, and loan money was an entirely different issue in it of itself… but it was an adventure she deserved to take.

That didn’t change how awkward she felt, trailing somewhere in the middle of a group of people following the tour guide around like a lost puppy. She had already tripped over herself and knocked two others down with her, not only interrupting the tour, but stopping the entire thing for a solid five minutes while she picked herself up and tried to stumble out an apology that was more like a loud proclamation of rushed syllables than actual words. She swore there was an ‘I’m so sorry’ in there somewhere, but the disgruntled looks of those she fell on had yet to leave their faces, even as they arrived in a small courtyard and given instructions to meet and greet those in their group, pair off so they can go on a “scavenger hunt” to get them better acquainted with the campus they’d be spending their time at as well as make new friends. Something told her she wasn’t the one they were all vying to be paired with, which was a more depressing thought that would no doubt loom over her even after the tour ended and she got to go home with proverbial tail between her legs.

Rubbing sweaty palms on the skirt of her dress, something she had picked out to help her look nice and proper for such an event despite not really being able to afford it, Chihiro looked from person to person in the group, hoping to meet eyes with at least, but instead only heard whispers as gazes turned away. If she had the chance to just talk to someone she was sure she’d be able to make a better impression, but apparently people these days—just like the strangers on the street she supposed—weren’t very keen on second chances. Just she wasn’t about to give up and run away. A younger, more frightened Chihiro might have… but she needed to move past it. Taking a few seconds to pull her wind blown hair in to a messy ponytail, her stretched out and worn purple hairband that never left her person being wrapped around it, she moved over to a blonde with a friendly face. Newfound confidence in her steps—a bit erratic as she all but marched over to her—she offered a hand in greeting. “H-Hi! I’m Chihiro!” she offered brightly, her tone friendly and with a wide smile, hoping beyond hope that this wouldn’t end badly.

Notes: I hope this is okay! Also I dunno if colleges do scavenger hunts but why not?
