Tiny feet slowly walked through the eerily quiet streets of a forgotten city. Imagining that she was an explorer that was visiting ancient ruins of an unknown land. Her little knapsack on her shoulders as she traded her little boots for running shoes and her winter gear for fall. It was a little chilly out though so she had shrugged on her jacket as she looked around. Swearing she saw figures cloaked in shadow, the guards of this ancient ruined home. Yet, when she'd move closer she'd realized it was just her mind playing tricks and be on her way again. Her red hair tied up in a ponytail as green eyes surveyed the area she was in. Telling herself she was on the hunt for a special artifact, to try and take her mind off things. Reminding herself that she was here for one purpose and that was to find Jenna. Her parents had told her time and time again that it was too dangerous for her. That she was too little to be exploring the cartoon world on her own.

Heck, everyone that she was close to had been telling her that for a long time. She was tired of living in their shadows and she knew in her heart that she was out there. There was no way Jenna would have given up on her just like she wouldn't give up on her dog. They had practically grown up together since she got home from the hospital when she was just a baby. Armed with only a knife that she'd taken from her kitchen. Foolish really, but she had no idea what she'd be up against. She didn't want to take any chances at least looking around the place. Pretending the knife was a sword as she walked along the deserted streets. Looking up at old street lamps that had seen too much hardship it seemed. Sighing softly as she remarked that this was definitely not home. Seems the portal had thrown her somewhere else.

Which left the question of where she was if this wasn't her home. Startled by a sound as she watched a cat hop out of a home via a broken window. Laughing gently to herself as she relaxed a little and wandered over. Smiling fondly at the little black and white feline as she bent down to pet it. Giggling as it brushed up against her a couple of times. Offering the little cat a few of the fishy crackers she'd packed in her knapsack which it seemed to like. Grinning as she stroked it's head once or twice in happiness.

"You're really cute. I think I'll name you Luna," replied the little girl as she watched the cat.

Hearing a gentle meow from the feline as it brushed up against her again. Making her smile as she stood up and let the feline follow her along. Feeling comforted by the fact that she wasn't as alone anymore. Imaging the cat was a big wild cat that she had tamed making her laugh a little internally. Sometimes her mind worked in strange ways, but that was okay. It's where all the best ideas came from or at least Mummy said that to her. Hearing noises making her stop as did Luna as she swallowed thickly. Slowly moving towards a crumbling building and poking around the corner. Seeing some strange sort of creature moving through the debris making her nervous. Luna hiding in her knapsack as she bit her lip. It was big and it looked like a monster as it moved like an animal but was nothing she'd ever seen before.

"Better stay clear of those things, Luna," she whispered to her new feline friend.

Hearing it mew softly in agreement as she slowly backed away from it to look elsewhere. Making her way down another empty street wondering what sort of people lived here. Didn't look like any place she'd ever seen from her picture books. Startled when Luna hopped out of her bag to start chasing after a squirrel.

"LUNA COME BACK!" insisted Rosy as she started chasing after her feline companion.

look back with no remorse
Oh how he just adored this place! Even if it wasn’t the best place around, Olaf just loved getting to explore all over the abandoned places in the other world. Perhaps it had something to do with the fact that he had no brain and couldn’t realize what an awful idea it was, or perhaps he was just a glutton for danger. Either way, Olaf was having a grand time. He didn’t have much of a purpose for any of the exploring he got into, of course, it was all just for the experience. Yes, he wanted to find his friends, and yes, he wanted to find his home, but that was a lot for one little snowman to get into. He could barely take care of himself some days, especially when the summer weather came about, but that didn’t matter, not now. Oftentimes his explorations around this realm were just him wandering, possibly getting lost, and finding his way back to the arch eventually. At least that was one positive of it all- no matter how turned around he got, the snowman always made it back home.

It wasn’t like he had much of a support system either. Many of his friends came and went, and although he missed them, Olaf found himself distracted time and time again. There were always more friends- and he wanted to find more of those from home. He had Elsa, at least, and she didn’t seem like she would be going anywhere anytime soon. She always brought a smile to his face when they got to spend time together, and he wanted to see her just as happy. Yes, she was, especially when they first found one another (although it took Olaf plenty of time to piece the situation together), but as they struggled to find others, he could see the pain impacting her more and more. They both wanted Anna, and Sven, and the other guy back together. Of course they did. Just like they wanted to be back in Arendelle! But whatever that dangerous stuff was, it just wouldn’t let that much luck impact them. So it was awful, a torture almost, that they had to get through.

The city was definitely one of the more fun places to explore. Lots of buildings, nooks and crannies that just didn’t make any sense. With his flexible body, Olaf was able to find himself in the most unordinary of places, and he loved it. Especially when he could use them to hide from any of the creepy things outside! Olaf didn’t often notice the darkness creatures, but when he did, he certainly didn’t like them. They were far more terrifying than Marshmallow ever was, and far more dangerous. At least they couldn’t do much to the snowman, who could just put himself back together every time they smashed him apart- it just took a bit of time to do so. Most of the time, he just wished he wouldn’t have to deal with anything creepy at all. It made his adventures far more fun!

He spoke to himself as he moved, ”Wow, it sure is chilly out today! Too bad I didn’t wear a coat.” Olaf laughed at his own joke. He didn’t need a coat- he was just fine without it. The colder the better, in fact. Entering into the nearby forest, Olaf wandered around the trees and plants. Now where could he go? There were just so many options, many of which he could barely believe! But sometimes, the best choices approached him.

There was a bit of shock as the cat appeared from the bush, but it was just so cute! ”Well hello there little fella! How’re you today? Did you get lost?” he leaned over a bit as he approached it, ”What are you running after? Or away from. I hope you’re running after something, you know that? Maybe we can run together!”

Rosy continued to run through the city haphazardously in an attempt to catch the silly cat. Though it was a lot harder with her much smaller legs. Eventually, having to slow herself down after some time when her breathing started acting up again. Resulting in a severe coughing fit as she looked around trying to figure out where Luna may have raced off to. Taking several minutes to calm herself down as she realized Luna had taken her to the outskirts of this abandoned city. Not exactly what she'd had in mind when she'd taken this journey through the portal. She was supposed to be looking for Jenna, not chasing after strays. Her parents had offered time and again to get her a new dog, but they didn't understand. Jenna wasn't just her dog, she was her best friend. No, she knew Jenna had to be alive, she just had to. So it was up to the little redhead to find Jenna even without the approval of her parents.

The fact alone that she made these trips to the other side would have left them angry. She understood that they loved her and that she'd nearly died, but she still had a life to live. Pulling the jacket around her just a little bit more as she attempted to locate the little black and white cat she'd seen. If she couldn't even find a little thing like Luna, how was she ever going to find Jenna? She shook her head not willing to give up as she moved through the trees. Occasionally calling out to the cat, but so far there didn't seem to be any trace of it. Making her wonder if she'd dreamed up the cat simply to pass the time with. Yet, she had picked it up and put it in her backpack, hadn't she? Still, when several minutes passed and there was no sign of the little cat, Rosy considered giving up. Or at least she was going to when she thought she heard talking. Lifting her little head, she stopped and doubled back in the direction from which it came from.

Sure enough, there was a voice and it was talking to someone or something. Slowly the little girl made her way further through the trees and through the bushes. Pausing when she came upon a rather unusual sight as she tried to focus on it. Sure, her imagination could dream up many things, but this was something else altogether. Sure, she'd watched Frosty the Snowman a couple of times at home, but that was just a story, wasn't it? Slowly moving her hand to her wrist to pinch it just to confirm she wasn't dreaming. Ow! Nope, definitely not dreaming at this point looking at the very much alive and talking snowman. Starring at the man made out of the snow for several long minutes trying to decide what to do.

"Hello I'm Rosy.....who are you?" asked the little girl curiously moving closer to the snowman.

If she was dreaming, it was a pretty powerful one and if she hadn't well she may just have made a new friend. That alone was exciting enough for her to pull out her bubbly self. Making her smile as she looked at it, noticing it was literally just about the same size of her. She hated being so little herself that to have someone else about her size was really something. A friend just for her perhaps as she giggled a little inwardly. Turning just as Luna meowed behind the creature and came over for petting.

"Oh hey you found Luna," she remarked as she picked up the naughty little thing. Kissing its nose as she set it back down on the ground to let it do what it wanted. More intrigued by the snowman that was up and about like a human. "I've never seen a talking snowman before...do you live here?" she asked of it.

look back with no remorse
Oh how Olaf just loved a good adventure! A time where he could make new friends and meet all sorts of other people. He had quite a number of friends already, if he were to be given a chance to brag. Not that he ever would- that was just mean! Olaf was a kind and gentle soul, and not the type of person to try and get himself ahead in the world. Really, the snowman was content with just about everything in his life, from his friends to his family and everything in between. He had no cares about fancy things, or even money, not as long as he was having fun and spending time with those he truly cared about. That was the nice thing about Haven Hill, even if he didn’t realize it- they were always there to keep an eye on those from other worlds. Especially those who had absolutely no idea what they were supposed to be doing. Olaf got by well enough, and managed to blend in with the crowds most of the time, but there were always moments here and there that were just a bit more uncertain. After all, he just wanted to talk about anything and everything he had experienced, and well, that just wasn’t always possible in such a new and different world.

Oftentimes the snowman forgot that he wasn’t supposed to share about his life as well, a snowman, but the words simply slipped out. He was far too excited about who he was and what he had done- that was one of the reasons he was here now. What more could he learn about on these little expeditions? Could he make more friends? Meet more people? Find others from home? There were countless choices and he just didn’t know how to meet them all! Not to mention he didn’t want to forget, as his memories were far too precious for anything like that. He had to remember Elsa, and Anna, and everyone else he had met on his various adventures around so many worlds. It was pretty amazing to think about! He had been in at least three different worlds now- how was that even real? Olaf loved it, he really truly did. Each and every place gave him new things to be excited about, and he couldn’t wait to see what would pop up in his life next.

So maybe there were darkness creatures lurking about, but who cared? Certainly not the snowman. He would just scare them off with his happiness! That would be absolutely lovely and wonderful. But first… He had to follow the cat. It was just a natural curiosity for Olaf, in the end- he wanted to know what was moving and what was happening. He was somewhat like a dog in that regard, always distracted by whatever came his way next. A cat was a great distraction at the moment! Especially when someone else showed up as well, someone proving he wasn’t alone.

”I’m Olaf!” he spoke with a smile on his face, ”Nice to meet you Rosy!” she was just a normal human, but that didn’t bug the snowman. He was happy to befriend anyone and everyone who passed his way. Olaf watched her as the cat moved over- so that was why the cat was running! It got free! Now that was no good, Olaf didn’t want to see anyone lose a pet. It was so awful to have to suffer through something like that! ”Oh, Luna! Is that her name?” the snowman gasped, ”That’s such a pretty name!” he loved it, he truly did. ”Live here? Oh no! I live in San Francisco. Well, I do now. I used to live in Arendelle, but the wind swept me away! Pretty crazy, huh?” he shrugged, watching Luna walk around, ”Do you live here with Luna?”

Questions upon questions swirled through Rosy's head as she stared at the talking snowman. Almost wanting to pinch herself just in case she was dreaming, but anything was possible here. Monsters weren't exactly supposed to be real either yet here they were. Watching him she had to admit it was nice having a companion that was just about her size. Usually, everything was bigger than her so it was nice to see something just her size. She almost dared to believe that he was meant to be a friend to her, but she didn't voice it. Holding the little cat in her arms as it nestled in comfortably against her now. Listening as the snowman greeted her friendly enough as he introduced himself as Olaf. Making her grin a little more as she felt naturally comforted by the talking entity. Much more so than any of the people she had met, but people were a lot more complicated. Finding herself at ease with Olaf as he greeted her back.

Rosy had never been one to become wary of the unnatural. If anything her curiosity only intensified and she wanted to know more about him. Where he had come from...how he was talking...how he was alive even. He didn't have a hat on his head like Frosty did, so that ruled out magical hats. Feeling the cat settle momentarily as she bent down to kiss its sweet little head. Making sure not to hold on too tightly like she'd learn not to do. Even if it was hard when you had so much love to give. Looking up as Olaf asked if Luna was the cat's name and shook her head.

"It's not really her name. I just found her and thought the name fit her," commented Rosy gently as the cat meowed in recognition.

Looking down at Luna as she contemplated what she was going to do with her. She could take her back home, but she didn't know what the rules were in her apartment. She couldn't exactly leave her here with those monsters walking about. Smiling as Olaf thought that the name really suited the feline. Apparently so did the cat as she shifted her into the knapsack for the time being. She hadn't seen anyone so she didn't think it had an owner, but that didn't mean anything. Only just catching the snowman's words about living in San Francisco. So he must know about the portal then it seemed. Perking up at the mention of an unfamiliar place called Arendelle.

"Airendell....where's that? That sounds like such a lovely place," commented Rosy unable to stop the question from coming out.

She was doing better about reigning in her more inquisitive nature, but as a child, she was naturally curious about everything. After all, she was still a mere child regardless of the significant age change when she went through the portal. She had to admit having Olaf here made her happy. Wasn't like she had many friends back home and he was well..perfect sized. Almost like he was meant for her. Shaking the thoughts from her head as he asked if she lived here. Looking around the forest in which they were currently situated in. Still well within distance of the city where she had started looking for Jenna.

"No, I live in San Francisco same as you I guess. I'm here looking for my dog or at least I'm trying to find her," explained Rosy.

Taking a glance around the edge of the forest where they were standing as if Jenna may appear. Nothing but the sounds of birds and other creatures that called this place home. It was disheartening, to say the least as she looked back over at Olaf. Startled by the sounds of one of those monsters from down near the abandoned city. Hearing the cat inside her bag give a meow as she tried to steady her nerves. She hoped she wasn't going to end up running into any of those creatures. Unlike Olaf, she didn't think they were in the mood for making friends.

"So how come you can talk and stuff?" asked Rosy, her mouth once again betraying her.
